Soil Calculator
Use our Soil Calculator to determine how much soil you need for your landscaping, gardening, or construction project. Calculate volumes, weights, and costs for different soil types.
How to Calculate Your Soil Needs
1. Measure Your Area
Measure the length, width, and desired depth of soil. For irregular shapes, break the area into rectangular sections and calculate each separately.
2. Choose Soil Type
Select the appropriate soil type for your project. Different soils have different densities and costs.
3. Calculate Volume
Our calculator determines the volume in cubic yards, cubic feet, and cubic meters, plus the number of bags needed.
4. Estimate Weight and Cost
Get weight estimates in tons and kilograms, plus cost calculations based on current market prices.
